Brief Description

Start your career in recruitment as a Trainee Consultant! You’ll learn from experienced recruiters, build relationships with candidates and clients, create job adverts, review CVs and develop valuable sales, communication and business skills through hands-on training and mentoring.

GCSE Maths and English 4 or above (or equivalent)

Vacancy Detail

Duties:
Represent MET professionally, in person & across social media networks where applicable.
Conduct a variety of administrative tasks as necessary – this could include preparing CV’s, typing advertisements, uploading adverts to jobs boards & vetting CV’s.
Contact potential candidates over the phone to assess their suitability for the role
Always striving to build strong relationships with candidates, clients, & colleagues.
Approach your training with enthusiasm & engaging with the process.
Follow the advice of your peers throughout the training period.
Be thorough in your approach to your work.
Ensure all written work is correct in respect of spelling, grammar & punctuation.
Keep all data handled within your place of work confidential at all times, observing the general rules of GDPR.

Other Information

Your training will span across a 3 – 6-month period. It will consist of a mixture of classroom-based sessions as well as on the job training. During this period, we ask that you absorb all the information you are given, take notes and ask questions. During this period, a senior member of the MET team will also coach / mentor you.
