Brief Description

As a Freight Administrator Apprentice, you will assist the team in managing shipments across multiple transport modes (air, sea, rail, and road).
This role is focused on learning the basics of freight forwarding, helping with documentation, tracking shipments, and providing support to experienced team members.

Qualifications Required

5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English - 4 or above

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in coordinating shipments and ensuring all relevant documentation is in place.

Help maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.

Observe and support colleagues in resolving any minor shipment issues under supervision.

Assist with answering customer queries and forwarding information as needed.

Learn to communicate with customers and carriers in a professional manner, with guidance.

Learn how to process and handle freight documentation, including bills of lading and shipping instructions.

Understand the basics of multi-modal freight (air, sea, rail, road) and shipping regulations.

Support the team in everyday tasks, such as tracking shipments and updating customers on their status.
