Brief Description
We’re seeking a motivated individual to join an education recruitment company as a Recruitment Consultant Apprentice. You’ll support schools across the West Midlands by advertising roles, screening CVs, speaking with candidates, arranging interviews, and helping match staff to their ideal roles with professionalism and care.
Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English 4 or above (or equivalent)

Future Prospects
Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent Recruitment Consultant role, with career progression opportunities and the chance to earn commission.
Vacancy Detail
Duties will include:
Advertise vacancies on job boards and the company website to attract suitable candidates.
Source candidates proactively through online portals and referrals.
Screen and interview candidates over the phone to assess suitability for school placements.
Prepare candidates for interviews and create strong, professional CVs.
Write job adverts and advertise on website and online portals.
Ensure full compliance during registration, following all legal and company standards.
Calling new schools (cold calling) to identify new contacts
Build and maintain strong relationships with school clients, understanding their staffing needs.
Generate new business by contacting non-using schools and identifying new opportunities.
Provide ongoing support to candidates, especially those in long-term placements.
Maintain accurate records on CRM and use appropriate systems for compliance and payroll.
Represent The Teach Team professionally, promoting its values and adhering to all policies.
The apprentice recruitment consultant will build and maintain relationships with schools to gain new business and retain existing arrangements, recruit and retain candidates – teachers and teaching assistants – to be able to match candidates to suitable jobs. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required and the candidate must be self-motivated, ambitious and demonstrate confidence and tenacity.
