Brief Description

This is a great opportunity to develop skills, behaviours and knowledge working in a busy office environment as a Business Administrator, where you are going to support the administrative team: answering phone and email queries, working with Microsoft Office, IT software and dealing with paperwork.

Qualifications Required

Ideally candidate will have achieved GCSE C / 4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)

Future Prospects

There are long-term plans in place for an apprentice to follow a career growth. Their plans for the role are for someone to come in as an admin apprentice and once completed they train them in their contracts team with the aim of becoming a project engineer/manager.


Vacancy Detail

Data input, data extraction, scanning, photocopying, faxing, filing, and typing duties
To support the team in maintaining accurate, timely, and legible records
Updating job-specific reports as requested, including breakdowns and program
Weekly locations for the contracts team to be collated and updated
Maintaining plant records for the contracts department
Maintaining stock of contracts department paperwork and equipment
To answer/deal with queries, both face-to-face and via telephone, take messages, and pass them on to the relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner
To provide appropriate reception cover as and when required
To maintain filing systems in line with company procedures
Collating information for reports
To be a flexible and supportive member of the team
