Brief Description

The main purpose of the role is to support the Data and Assessment Manager in all data analysis, reporting and assessments within the school, internal and external examinations and general administrative support to curriculum areas.

Qualifications Required

Minimum A-C GCSE English and Maths

Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Friendly and receptive

Skills Required

Good skills with Microsoft Word and Excel are very important as there is a huge degree of IT required within the role.

Vacancy Detail

It is very important to understand that this is NOT a teaching assistant role and the duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Assist the Data and Assessment Manager in the organisation and administration of external examinations and all administration associated with vocational qualifications.
Assist the Data and Assessment Manager in the administration of internal school examinations including mock examinations.
Assist the Data and Assessment Manager in the production of profiles and interim progress reports.
Liaise with subject leaders regarding the choice of specifications and all other matters relating to examination entries including post-results enquiries.
Assist the Data and Assessment Manager in liaising with examination bodies regarding submission of entries, amendments, forecast grades and coursework marks, requests for special arrangements, post-results enquiries and other queries.
Carry out general administrative and clerical duties including data entry as necessary to support the curriculum areas.
Be responsible for managing the reprographic needs of curriculum areas and producing materials to support teaching and learning.
Prepare material for teachers and students for both classwork and examinations.
Collate documents/booklets and other resources as required.
Support the school in meeting its Safeguarding responsibilities.
Support the overall welfare and good discipline of students.
Lead by example and embody the school's values for students, staff, governors and parents.
Act in a manner which upholds the school's values and ethos.
Participate in the school's arrangements for performance management and CPD (Continuous Professional Development).
Carry out other duties as may be commensurate with the grade and nature of the post.
