Warehousing Operative and Supply Chain Apprenticeship

Brief Description

This is a great opportunity to complete an apprenticeship within a growing company. Duties include assisting with the checking in/out of equipment, loading and unloading the vehicles. You will also be checking for any missing or damaged equipment.

Qualifications Required

(Some employers may ask for certain qualifications to be held. However most companies don’t require anything)

Ideally English and mathematics GCSE at grade A-C or Level 2 equivalent however all shortlisted applicants will be invited to the training centre to participate in a recruitment event where Literacy and Numeracy will be assessed.

Vacancy Detail

Duties include:
Ensure accurate and high-quality picking of orders based on pallet labels or pick sheets provided by the team leader/supervisor.
Pack orders according to customer specifications.
Perform visual quality checks on picked products, and consult a quality controller or line manager if uncertain about the quality.
Ensure completed orders are checked by an authorised checker.
Label products accurately and shrink-wrap finished order pallets.
Handle company equipment properly, including forklift trucks and pallet trucks if authorized and trained.
