Supply Chain Warehouse Apprentice

Brief Description

This role is based within the Motorsport section of Godiva Bearings who operate in many areas of motorsport from Le Mans Series to Formula 1 and will involve inventory management, picking, packing, safe handling of items and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications Required

Minimum A*-C/9-4 GCSE, or equivalents, maths and English

Vacancy Detail

Safe handling of materials
Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regime
Pick orders accurately
Pack material to a high standard
Unload and load vehicles - checking for damaged and missing material.
Practice basic warehouse security
Manage and handle all paperwork in line with company procedures
Report any faults on folk lift/machinery/racking and any other mechanical device as soon as possible
To keep the warehouse and workplace tide and in good order
Picking and packing orders
Unloading goods from suppliers
Loading goods on to commercial vehicles
Keep the warehouse clean and tidy
Moving stock around by hand and using any necessary lifting equipment
Accurately check and manage paperwork
Use the computer for checking stock/locations etc.
Liaise with delivery drivers and customer collection in a professional manner
