Electrical Trade Supplier Apprentice Required

Brief Description

This is a varied role with opportunities to develop experience in many aspects of this business. You will be required to provide excellent customer support, learning product knowledge and processes to assist with the smooth running of this business.

Qualifications Required

Ideally the successful candidate will have Maths and English GCSE or equivalent Grade 4/ C or above

The successful candidate will have a real willingness to learn and develop new skills via the apprenticeship;
Must be hardworking, reliable and trustworthy,

Vacancy Detail

Duties will include:
Dealing with customers over the telephone, email or face to face on our trade counter
Establishing what the customer requires
Dealing with the requirement either from our existing stocks or by ordering from one of our suppliers
Quoting customer
Receiving goods from delivery drivers/carriers
Checking goods into stock via our computer system
Dealing with goods either putting them into stock or booking them out to customers
Dealing with Suppliers over the telephone or email. Meeting Suppliers representatives over trade counter
Sourcing products for customer requirements and our stock
Obtaining prices from suppliers and delivery dates
Placing purchase orders with suppliers.
Ensuring the orders re delivered as agreed by contacting suppliers if necessary
Stock Control
General Office Admin such as filing
Managing Stationary Stock
